Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support in a school setting located in Shawnee, KS. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning outcomes while working within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate records and prepare reports documenting student progress Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings consistent with educational goals
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year experience (SLP-CFY) Experience working within a school environment as an SLP is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
