What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) NHC HealthCare Glasgow - Glasgow, KY Join our in-house therapy team that's passionate about quality care and teamwork! At NHC HealthCare Glasgow, we value collaboration, recognition, and growth in a fun, family-oriented workplace.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide SLP services in a skilled nursing setting
  • Support patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing challenges
  • Use evidence-based techniques for dysphagia and communication therapy
  • Collaborate with a supportive rehab team
Requirements:
  • ASHA Certified SLP
  • Kentucky SLP license
  • Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
  • SNF and Medicare experience a plus
