Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in telespeech and holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. This role is based in Hazard, KY, serving the educational environment with a focus on supporting students' communication needs through innovative virtual methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services via telepractice platforms to students. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals. Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in speech therapy.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Proven experience in telespeech within school settings. Strong communication skills tailored for virtual environments. Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively. Familiarity with educational protocols and individualized education plans (IEPs).
