Job Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct clinical services to individuals with acquired brain injuries to address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing challenges. Services are delivered in home, office, and community-based settings and are designed to help participants achieve the highest possible level of functioning in alignment with their person-centered plans of care. This position is available as part-time or PRN and offers a lot of scheduling flexibility. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized, measurable treatment goals consistent with approved person-centered plans of care Address speech and language impairments, sensorimotor skills, and cognitive and perceptual functioning through evidence-based interventions Select appropriate therapeutic equipment, strategies, and activities to support functional outcomes Provide approved units of service in accordance with treatment plans and schedules Develop treatment protocols and provide guidance and training to direct care staff as appropriate Maintain ongoing communication with the person-centered team, including case managers, guardians, clinicians, and direct care staff Participate in treatment team meetings as needed Documentation & Compliance Complete detailed service notes, quarterly summaries, and re-evaluations in a timely and accurate manner Modify treatment protocols as needed to support participant progress Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local licensure and certification requirements Adhere to HIPAA standards and maintain participant confidentiality Follow all incident reporting procedures and ensure participant health, safety, and welfare Uphold ethical principles and respect participant rights, autonomy, and dignity Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Kentucky licensure and board certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for Kentucky licensure) Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury or neurological conditions preferred, but not required Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills Employment Details Part-Time or PRN W-2 employee or independent contractor options available Flexible scheduling
