Required License/Registration/Certification Kentucky Speech-language Pathology ( SLP ) License and Registration, Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC ) eligible Physical Requirements Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary for the position include but are not limited to: running, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, sitting on the floor, getting up and down from the floor, and lifting children and or equipment. Must also have the capacity to provide the children and or adults with a speech/ language model. Shift Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Job Summary The University of Kentucky is currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide consultation, assessment, and treatment of a variety of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments in patients within hospital areas. Other services may include evaluation of patients for potential benefit from speaking valves, electrolarynx, and trachea-esophageal prosthesis. This position will require complete documentation of all services provided as well as billing of services as part of the patient care process. IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered.) Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Experience with pediatric and/or adult communication evaluation and treatment. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
