Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals of all ages, primarily focusing on pediatrics, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. You will collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance communication skills. Provide early intervention services for children with speech delays or disorders. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support patient progress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development. Skills Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices. Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable. Proficient in speech therapy techniques and methodologies. Familiarity with early intervention strategies for young children. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments to identify communication challenges. Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech pathology. Experience working within children is a plus.
