Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a contract speech-language pathologist. This opportunity focuses on early intervention with children ages 3-4, working onsite with a dynamic team for the upcoming school year. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in a school-based setting preferred Familiarity with early intervention strategies highly valued Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsRole Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver speech-language services to children ages 3-4 as part of the Early Interventionist Team Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy in individual and small group settings Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation and progress data throughout the school year This part-time contract role offers approximately 4 hours per day, 4 days per week throughout the school year—ideal for those seeking professional flexibility while making a lasting impact.
