A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Venza Care is seeking a PRN SLP to join our exceptional rehabilitation team in Haleyville, AL. This is your opportunity to transform patient care and quality of life in a supportive skilled nursing environment.
Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00/ hour based on experience
Schedule:
PRN What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP license and
ASHA CCC
2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred) Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration Why Venza Care?
