Donaldsonville, LA Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a primary school caseload in Donaldsonville, Louisiana , for the 20262027 school year . This position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek and an opportunity to work directly with younger students in a school-based environment. The SLP will provide speech and language services designed around each student's educational needs while working closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the school team. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and values collaboration within a school setting. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to primary school students Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments as needed Develop and implement individualized therapy goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to IEP development Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team Provide recommendations for classroom strategies, accommodations, and communication supports Qualifications Active Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license required School-based experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service professionals Experience Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred Experience working with primary or elementary-aged students is a plus Familiarity with IEPs and school-based speech-language services preferred Education Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Work Hours 35 hours per week Full-time 20262027 school year Primary school setting Onsite position in Donaldsonville, LA To learn more about this Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity, please submit your application and current resume.
