A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Beyond Speech Therapy is growing, and we are looking for SLPs and SLPAs to join our team! We are open to full-time, part-time, and PRN clinicians , making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible schedule or a more consistent caseload. Beyond Speech Therapy is a private practice providing speech, language, feeding, swallowing, and AAC services to clients across the Lake Charles and surrounding areas. We are committed to providing quality, individualized care while creating a supportive environment for our clinicians. What We're Looking For We are looking for clinicians who are: Licensed and/or appropriately credentialed to practice in Louisiana Passionate about providing quality, client-centered care Comfortable working with pediatric and/or adult clients and/or interested in expanding their clinical experience Reliable, professional, and collaborative Able to work independently while communicating effectively with the team Interested in a flexible position that can grow with their availability Position Options We are currently open to: Full-Time Part-Time PRN/Flex We are happy to discuss availability and build a schedule that works for the right clinician.
