Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for SLP in Louisiana Experience in a K-12 setting preferred, though all SLPs passionate about school-based practice are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to various age groups and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine communication needs and develop appropriate interventions Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Actively participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goal development This position offers the advantage of flexible scheduling (full or part time availability) and the support of a dedicated education community that values specialized expertise.
