Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working with school-aged children. This dynamic, full-time position focuses on supporting students' communication needs through a blend of in-person and teletherapy services. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students thrive academically and socially. Ideal candidates possess expertise in evaluating and addressing a variety of pediatric speech and language challenges within a school environment. Whether you are an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow, your commitment to student wellbeing will make a real difference.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure and active ASHA certification (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow status accepted) Knowledge or experience in school-based settings preferred, but open to candidates of all backgrounds Skill in pediatric speech pathology, including assessment and intervention Teletherapy practice experience is valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for a diverse student population Develop and implement individualized intervention plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide direct therapy services both onsite and remotely, utilizing effective teletherapy tools Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
