9652188-71130 Job Description Discover a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school-aged students in the Shreveport, LA area. Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license for Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students (caseload may vary based on service needs and school assignments) Assess, diagnose, and create individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with various communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social success Deliver direct and consultative services in accordance with
IDEA/IEP
goals and school district policies Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and staff professional development as needed
