Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Louisiana Prior experience working in school settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting students communication needs Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for therapy sessions and student progress Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support overall student development Provide consultative support to educators and families as needed
