Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Massachusetts SLP license is required Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not mandatory Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in individual and group settings Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies in the classroom Maintain accurate records and documentation in adherence with school policies and compliance guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students
