Key Qualifications:

Active

ASHA SLP

Certification with at least 2 to 3 years of post-certification experience Demonstrated background in school-based speech-language pathology Confidence working with a broad spectrum of communication needs Commitment and ability to supervise up to 3 SLPAs, each managing caseloads of up to 55 students Experience guiding SLPAs through treatment planning, data collection, reporting, and progress monitoring Strong foundation in conducting Special Education Eligibility Evaluations (both initial assessments and re-evaluations)

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language services to students, adjusting support based on caseload dynamics and evolving school needs Supervise and mentor SLPAs with thorough oversight of clinical procedures, caseload management, reporting, and progress documentation Attend all IEP meetings (initial, annual, and re-evaluation), presenting evaluation results, progress data, and informed recommendations Write, revise, and update IEPs for students on your caseload, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support student progress Take the next step in your career and use your specialized skills to support school communities and develop the next generation of clinicians.
