Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits qualified Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make an impact in a dynamic school environment near Bridgewater, MA! Multiple contract positions are available, including two full-time roles and coverage for three maternity leaves. These in-person positions are ideal for passionate professionals skilled in addressing a spectrum of communication needs and committed to collaborative student support.
Qualifications:
Completion of
ASHA SLP
certification at least 2-3 years prior (CCCs required; CFYs considered) Strong background in school-based SLP practice Experience or willingness to supervise SLPAs, overseeing up to three assistants each Capacity to manage fluctuating caseloads due to enrollment changes Confidence in supporting students with diverse communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, individualized speech-language therapy for students in a range of grade levels Supervise up to three SLPAs, guiding their treatment, data collection, and reporting; each assistant may serve up to 55 students Conduct Special Education Eligibility Evaluations, including both initial and re-evaluation assessments Participate in all relevant IEP meetings (Initials, Re-evals, annuals), presenting assessment data, progress, and recommendations Write, monitor, and regularly update IEPs for students under your care Adapt approaches and caseload management based on enrollment and student needs This is a fantastic chance to work with a supportive multidisciplinary team and broaden your expertise in school-based speech services.
