Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dedicated PreK Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) setting near Cambridge, MA. This full-time position centers on providing specialized support to a small group of 6-8 students, fostering growth and communication development during critical early years. The typical day begins at 7:45 am, concluding at 1:30 pm, with student instruction from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Working onsite in a collaborative educational environment, youll apply your expertise to help children achieve meaningful milestones.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Massachusetts SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY applicants welcome) Pediatric experience, particularly in school-based or PreK settings Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) interventions or willingness to learn Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students speech, language, and communication needs in accordance with IEPs Plan and deliver evidence-based therapy to small PreK groups and individualized sessions Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress Contribute to team meetings, IEP development, evaluations, and reporting Provide guidance and strategies for classroom support staff
