Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment. Bringing your skills as a CCC-certified SLP, you will make a difference in a vibrant elementary school environment near Fall River, MA, collaborating with educators and families to promote communication skill development and maximize student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience serving school-aged children, especially at the elementary level Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy Effective communicator who works well with diverse learners, parents, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to elementary students Administer comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and help determine educational impact Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement interventions in the classroom Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews Support students with a wide range of communication disorders, tailoring strategies to meet individual needs Engage in professional development to stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy
