Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

This opportunity focuses on helping children and adolescents succeed in their academic and social environments by delivering personalized interventions in a school-based setting. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered Experience working in K-12 schools or with pediatric populations Ability to deliver therapy to individuals and small groups Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families Familiarity with IEP processes, data collection, and progress monitoring Your responsibilities will include: Conducting student assessments, screenings, and evaluations Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals Providing therapy services to students as indicated on IEPs Documenting progress, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate records Collaborating with general and special education teachers, as well as parents and multidisciplinary teams Attending and contributing to IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives Advocating for students' communication needs throughout the school environment This contract position provides you the chance to advance your career while making a genuine impact in the lives of students.
