9635714-01902 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to work with a diverse student population, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Your expertise will help students develop vital communication skills, making a meaningful impact every day.
Essential Qualifications:
Active SLP certification, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Experience working in school settings, ideally across multiple grade levels (K-12) Strong command of assessment and therapy practices for speech and language disorders Bilingual ability in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred, given the districts multilingual population Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other professionals Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in a variety of grade levels, based on experience Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate communication between families and school staff Experience the rewards of working in an innovative, culturally rich school community where your expertise truly matters.
