Job Description

A dynamic contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support during a maternity leave for the 2026-2027 school year. This elementary school-based assignment is conveniently located near Lynn, MA, with the chance to positively impact students' lives in a supportive educational setting. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 34 hours per week from 7:45 am to 2:33 pm. An SLPA provides additional caseload support, ensuring collaborative service delivery.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech and Hearing Disabilities license (all levels) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Prior experience in a school-based environment, specifically in elementary settings Strong teamwork and communication skills Please note: Clinical Fellows are not being considered for this assignment
Responsibilities:
Provide inclusive, high-quality speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students Complete assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation for student progress Collaborate with general education, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Coordinate with an on-site SLPA to deliver and support intervention for the assigned caseload Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This position offers professionals the opportunity to work in a vibrant K-12 educational community.
