What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Bear Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center a Long Term Care facility located in Stoneham MA is currently looking for a Full Time CF Speech and Language Pathologist with experience to join our team of healthcare professionals. .

You are a compassionate, caring, team oriented SLP who enjoys working with Seniors. You are dynamic, self directed and enjoy working with people. You are licensed in the state of Massachusetts.

Bear Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 5-star, highly reputable Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. We have an active 41 bed sub acute unit as well as 128 long term care beds. Our staff is caring and dedicated with a long history of employment at Bear Hill. We have an outstanding reputation in the community for providing short term and long term care and service to our seniors and we are considered a premier provider in the Skilled Nursing Community.
Qualifications:
MA SLP License At least one year of relevant experience preferred
Experience:
Long term care: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Types:

$38.00 - $42.00 per hour
