Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at The Center at Blue Hills in Stoughton, Massachusetts. As an SLP, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy services to our adult and geriatric patients. Your expertise will help our patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders, regain functional skills, and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs Provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy services to patients, including one-on-one and group therapy sessions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program Clinical fellowship completion or equivalent experience Massachusetts SLP licensure Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
