This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who thrive in dynamic, educational settings. Youll play a vital part in fostering communication skills for students during a maternity leave coverage from December through March.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid SLP-CCC or SLPA credential Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Passion for assisting young learners in reaching their speech and language goals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as assigned Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Track and document student progress, maintaining detailed records in compliance with school standards Regularly communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs throughout the assignment
