Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Possess valid state SLP licensure or eligibility Experience working in school settings, including elementary and/or secondary levels, is highly desirable Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively and compassionately with diverse student populations Flexibility and readiness to manage a caseload of up to 55 student contacts per week
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy and intervention services to students in accordance with IEP requirements Develop, implement, and revise student goals and treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student development and academic success Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational programs Maintain thorough records and documentation for all student interactions and progress Adapt intervention strategies to meet individual student needs in both elementary (8:15am3:45pm) and secondary (7:30am3:00pm) school environments This rewarding contract role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience across multiple grade levels.
