Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

If you're a Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting students and collaborating with educational teams, this contract opportunity offers the chance to make a difference. This position is situated near Annapolis, MD, and is ideal for professionals with SLP-CCC credentials who thrive in a school-based environment. While this is a pipeline (soft job order) opening, the district expects to have clarity on contracting by the end of the month. Interviews may be scheduled, but hiring decisions are pending the district's final approval.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain) Experience within a school setting, working with diverse student populations Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families Deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual and group needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state regulations Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators This contract opportunity promises professional development, the chance to work closely with supportive teams, and experience adapting to evolving district needs.
