Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required for school-based practice Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or pediatric setting is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Document progress, prepare reports for IEP meetings, and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure alignment of therapy with classroom objectives Participate in team meetings, provide consultation to educational staff, and share strategies for supporting communication goals in the classroom Stay current with best practices and continuing education to enhance service delivery Convenient contract scheduling offers flexibility for work-life balance, allowing you to focus on student success while pursuing your professional interests.
