Speech Pathologist CF SLP Job Summary:
South Mountain Rehab Center, located in historic Boonsboro, Maryland, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will help our residents regain their voice and communicate effectively with their loved ones. Your expertise in speech, language, and swallowing evaluations will be instrumental in creating personalized therapy plans that cater to our residents' unique needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to identify areas of improvement Develop and implement effective therapy plans to improve communication and swallowing skills Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support Educate residents and families on communication strategies and provide guidance on swallowing techniques Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA certification (or working on it) State licensure (or the ability to obtain) Passion for helping people communicate, laugh, and thrive About the
