Speech Language Pathologist prn Ridgeway Rehab Center Catonsville, MD Job Details Per diem $55 - $60 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) - Ridgeway Rehab Center Ridgeway Rehab Center, a beautiful 61-bed skilled nursing facility located in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! As a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) with Ridgeway Rehab Center, you will have the opportunity to provide rehabilitation services to our residents and patients, making a meaningful impact on their lives. Our PRN model offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance Facilitate the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders of deficits Direct activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient As necessary or applicable, supervise CFY provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice Good organizational and time management skills Good verbal and written communication skills
