Job Description

As a contract School SLP, your knowledge and dedication will foster effective communication skills in children, supporting their academic and social success.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly desirable Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs through formal and informal evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, within the school setting Document student progress; prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate outcomes to parents and team members Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to facilitate student inclusion and achievement Deliver in-services or training as needed to educate others about speech and language development Take the next step in your SLP journey with a contract position that blends professional growth with the rewards of helping students thrive in the classroom and beyond.
