9651500-20871 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting multiple elementary schools in the vicinity of Clarksburg, MD, for the academic year. This position begins October 1 and concludes June 4, providing dedicated full-time hours from 8:00 to 3:00, Monday through Friday. Youll manage a caseload of approximately 35-45 elementary students across several sites, collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized communication goals. The assignment offers the chance to make a direct and lasting impact on young learners during a critical period in their development. To thrive in this role, you should have: Current Maryland State SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) School-based SLP experience or strong knowledge of K-5 student needs Ability to travel to multiple elementary sites as needed Commitment to providing high quality, evidence-based interventions Primary responsibilities include: Conducting screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for speech and language issues Developing and implementing individualized education plan (IEP) goals Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Maintaining accurate records and required documentation Providing therapy sessions and tracking student progress Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing expertise on speech/language development The interview process will be held virtually for your convenience.
