We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity within a supportive school community. Your background and skillset:
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based or pediatric setting Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Comfort performing assessments, creating treatment plans, and working with diverse student populations Your impact and responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEPs Deliver targeted therapy to students individually and in small groups Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster overall student success Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by the school and special education guidelines Provide insights and recommendations during IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams Enjoy meaningful work with valuable rewards, including the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys, professional growth in a collaborative environment, and the fulfillment that comes from helping students achieve essential communication skills.
