Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in young learners' lives. A local PreK-2 school near Easton, MD (with a specific assignment in Centreville and the surrounding areas) seeks a skilled SLP to join their team on a contract basis, covering from October 1 through December 23. Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Maryland State SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience in school-based SLP services, ideally with younger populations Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 PreK-2 students Strong organizational and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments for new and existing students in PreK-2 Deliver direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals Provide case management for a diverse caseload, ensuring all documentation and deadlines are met Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and school-based multidisciplinary teams Support the generalization of communication goals within the educational setting This contract position is Monday through Friday, with a daily schedule of seven work hours plus a half-hour unpaid lunch.
