Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations, with a focus on early intervention and office settings. Your expertise will help children develop essential speech, language, and social skills, empowering them to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in pediatric clients. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, incorporating current best practices in speech therapy. Deliver engaging therapy sessions that promote progress in speech production, language comprehension, social communication, and oral-motor skills. Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support strategies for each child's development. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to maximize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with organizational policies. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology by participating in ongoing professional development and training. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech and swallowing functions. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Experience delivering speech therapy interventions for early intervention programs is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
