What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

What Were Looking For:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Experience in a school setting preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong organizational abilities and initiative Committed to diversity, equity, and fostering a positive learning environmentYour Role Will Include:
Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and IEP records Offering guidance and resources to educators and families regarding speech/language support Promoting inclusive practices within the school communityWhat Makes This Opportunity Stand Out:
