This contract position runs from October 1 through June 4, offering rewarding, full-time work each weekday (8:00 am 3:00 pm) across multiple elementary campuses. As the Speech-Language Pathologist in this vital role, you'll guide a caseload of 3545 students, making a direct impact on their growth and communication success during the academic year.
Key Attributes and Credentials:
Holds an active Maryland SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Demonstrated experience in a school, SLP-CCC, or SLP-school setting Familiarity with IEP planning, therapy documentation, and student progress tracking Professional, collaborative approach with students, staff, and families
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting student evaluations and implementing individualized treatment plans Providing engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy services Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to program development across multiple sites This is a chance to work in vibrant elementary settings, becoming an integral resource for students who need your expertise.
