This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with a diverse student population, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing services across both middle and high school settings.
Position Highlights Two-school assignment:
Spend approximately 2 days per week at a middle school and 3 days per week at a high school .
Variety of student needs:
Gain experience working with students across a range of diagnoses and levels of severity.
Collaborative environment:
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
AAC exposure:
Experience with AAC is valued, but not required. Shared office space available.

Salary:
$70,000-$90,000/year , based on experience What You'll Do Provide speech-language therapy based on students' IEP goals and individual communication needs. Provide services across middle and high school settings. Support students with a range of communication needs, diagnoses, and levels of severity. Provide individual and small-group therapy as appropriate. Provide consultation services for students receiving consult-only support. Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and reevaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention based on student data. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of meaningful speech-language goals. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and meet state and district special education requirements. Utilize AAC and other communication supports when appropriate. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders. Maryland Department of Health SLP License required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required for experienced SLPs. Clinical Fellows may be considered based on licensure requirements. School-based experience preferred, but not required. Experience with IEPs and school-based service delivery preferred. AAC experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication, organization, flexibility, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
