Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; however, new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are encouraged to apply Previous experience in school settings is a plus, but not required Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to students at both the elementary and middle school levels Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Educate and empower teachers and families regarding speech and language strategies This role offers a unique chance to strengthen your skills, gain experience across age groups, and access a supportive educational community.
