Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting students in a K-12 school environment near Hyattsville, MD. In this contract role, you'll play a vital part in helping children overcome speech, language, and communication challenges, making a real impact on their academic and social lives.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Maryland SLP License Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or eligibility to obtain Previous school-based or pediatric experience is advantageous, though not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals tailored to each student's requirements Deliver direct speech and language therapy, as well as consultative services Work closely with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure coordinated support for every student Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and documentation standards
