E & V Family Childcare Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and energetic Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our early childhood education team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who is passionate about supporting infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in developing strong communication skills within a nurturing learning environment. Position Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Schedule Part-Time Flexible weekday hours Approximately 10-20 hours per week (based on enrollment and student needs) Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, identify, and provide speech and language therapy services for children experiencing communication delays or disorders. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, families, and administration to develop individualized strategies that promote each child's communication, social interaction, and overall development. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals. Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy. Collaborate with classroom teachers to incorporate communication strategies into daily classroom activities. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Educate and communicate with families regarding therapy goals and home activities. Participate in IFSP and IEP meetings when appropriate. Recommend referrals to additional specialists as needed. Maintain compliance with Maryland licensing regulations, professional ethics, and documentation standards. Support children with articulation, language delays, fluency, voice disorders, social communication, and feeding/swallowing concerns when applicable. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered. Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, or school-age children preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team. Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must successfully complete all required childcare background checks and employment screenings. Preferred Skills Knowledge of early childhood development. Experience working in childcare centers or preschool settings. Familiarity with Maryland Infants & Toddlers Program and local school systems. Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus. Ability to create engaging, play-based therapy sessions. Why Join E & V Family Childcare Learning Center?
