Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in both an elementary and a middle school setting. This full-time position offers the chance to foster growth and communication skills for young learners while collaborating with a strong, supportive educational community. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will make a difference from now through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates are confident in school-based practice and ready to work 37.5 hours per week, delivering high-quality speech and language services across diverse student populations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred Demonstrated experience working in schools with both elementary and middle school caseloads Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Serve students at one elementary and one middle school within the district Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy in alignment with state and district guidelines Maintain timely documentation and data reporting as required by the district Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary education team Communicate progress and strategies with families, teachers, and other service providers Support students' educational access and participation through effective intervention This contract assignment offers a stable schedule with immediate start through May 2027.
