Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist ready to make an impact across both elementary and middle school settings. This full-time contract position supports students in their communication development journey, partnering with passionate educational teams and affecting meaningful change on campus. Flexible placement is provided, and you'll be working closely with school professionals to facilitate student growth in a nurturing environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Maryland Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and middle school populations Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service staff Strong written and verbal communication skills Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support IEP development Maintain timely and accurate documentation of progress and services provided Educate families on strategies and resources to support their childs goals Contribute to staff training and consultation as needed Benefits include a collaborative environment, the potential for professional growth, and the chance to shape a positive school experience for diverse learners.
