Job Description

Bring your expertise to a fulfilling Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity supporting infants and toddlers at a dynamic district office close to Lexington Park, MD. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about early intervention and ready to make a meaningful difference in young childrens communication development. As part of a collaborative special services team, youll contribute your specialized skills, working with a manageable caseload in a flexible part-time schedule. This setting provides the chance to foster vital language growth during a critical period in childrens livesall within a supportive, professional environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and active Maryland SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) At least some experience in a school-based, infant/toddler, or early childhood setting Strong understanding of early developmental milestones and intervention strategies Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to infants and toddlers Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted therapy plans Consult with families and interdisciplinary team members to support each childs goals Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with state and district requirements Adapt interventions and materials to meet each childs unique developmental needs Participate in IFSP meetings and provide progress updates
