Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support increased caseloads at elementary schools in the Mount Airy, MD area. This opportunity is ideal for SLP professionals holding Maryland licensure who are interested in both full-time and part-time schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy to elementary school students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to monitor student progress. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines. Support compliance with all applicable educational and speech therapy regulations.Qualifications:
Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary school settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families. Ability to manage increased caseloads with professionalism and care. Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) is highly beneficial.Location:
Elementary schools in the Mount Airy, MD area, within Frederick County.Contract Information:
Start date: ASAP End date: June 5th Flexible hours available: full-time or part-time depending on availability.
