Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) serving elementary students in a central Maryland setting near Sykesville. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is perfect for skilled professionals passionate about supporting young learners and collaborating within a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Maryland SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop individualized treatment and therapy plans Knowledge of best practices in speech and language interventions for elementary-aged children Efficient documentation and case management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students with diverse needs Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to maximize student achievement and engagement Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce speech and language development This contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact supporting students communication and academic success in a welcoming school community.
