About the Position We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication development, academic success, and overall educational experience. Job Duties Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and related needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels Complete assessments, evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers Provide evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language development, fluency, social communication, and other areas of need Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Collaborate with educational teams to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations Support an inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Music Therapists, or eligibility to obtain licensure Valid Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Speech-Language Pathologist certification required for school-based practice Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or completion of required Clinical Fellowship requirements Completion of required supervised clinical experience Knowledge of
