This school-based position is designed for a professional with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP, SLP-CCC) credentials who thrives both in assessment and direct student service roles. The schedule offers full-time work—up to 40 hours weekly—combining assessment/writing tasks for three days and direct student service for two days.
Qualifications:
Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in school-based settings preferred Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments Strong report-writing and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments three days each week Prepare detailed and accurate assessment reports aligned with district and state guidelines Deliver direct speech-language therapy and support services to students two days per week Maintain thorough records of student progress and intervention outcomes Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to staff and caregivers This contract role offers a balanced mix of analytical assessment work and meaningful student interaction in a supportive school community.
