Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to start ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of CFY supervision requirements Prior experience in a school setting is valued but not required Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload and document progress efficiently
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with classroom teachers, families, and other professionals Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focused on speech and language goals Track, monitor, and report student progress, updating plans as needed Support faculty and families with expert input on communication disorders and strategies for student success This contract assignment offers you the flexibility to gain significant experience in a school-based setting.
