9659002-03908 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students by providing speech-language therapy services in a school environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated professionals who thrive on collaborating with young learners and their educational teams. Youll deliver high-quality interventionseither in-person or virtuallyto a small caseload of 4th and 5th graders, empowering them to reach their communication goals.
What You Bring:
Active certification as a speech-language pathologist (CCC or CFY considered) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Comfort with teletherapy platforms, if delivering services remotely Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and multidisciplinary collaboration Well-honed communication and documentation abilities Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapies to approximately nine students on your caseload Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress Consult with families and instructional staff to support therapeutic outcomes Deliver ongoing support for both in-person and teletherapy, adapting as needed for each students needs Maintain thorough, timely records and reports Start immediately and serve through December 20th, working one day (6 hours) per week This role offers the opportunity to bring your expertise to a focused group of students, with a schedule that supports work-life balance.
